Capital Campaign Nears $2M Goal For Endowed Chairs

    At the Annual Conference and Luncheon, PAR gave a progress report to its first-ever Capital Campaign. We are seeking $2 million in philanthropic support to permanently endow two distinguished research positions at PAR�an Educational Research Chair and a State Finances Chair. We are very pleased to report that we have raised $1.75 million, 87% of our goal and are within striking distance of raising the funds needed to create these permanent resources for the state.

    To have come this far despite the economic slowdown and the worst stock market conditions in a decade speaks volumes about PAR's importance to this state as well as the dedication and hard work of our volunteers and staff. It is also a testament to the philanthropy of our supporters.

    PAR is grateful to all the individuals, corporations and foundations who have invested in our future. We would like to give special recognition and thanks to the members of PAR's Leadership Council. Their extraordinarily generous endorsement of our campaign put us on the path to success.
